What to expect
Your visit, step by step.
Prep
Skin is cleansed and lightly powdered so the wax grips hair, not skin.
Wax
A thin layer of warm wax is applied with the hair growth and removed against it in one smooth motion.
Soothe
Residue is removed and a calming lotion applied. Any pinkness settles within the hour.
Good to know

- Hair is removed from the root so regrowth is softer

- Not suitable within 7 days of a peel, laser or strong retinoid use
Aftercare
- No heat, sauna or sun on the area for 24 hours
- Avoid exfoliating for two days
- Fragrance-free moisturiser only on the first day

Threading or waxing: which should I pick?
Threading for brows and sensitive skin; waxing for larger areas where speed matters. Your artist will advise on the day.
How long should hair be?
About 3–4 mm, roughly two weeks of growth, so the wax can hold it.
